So I got arrested  in Freakan  Slovakia’s Kosice town for buying a wrong ticket for the tram  ( Old Style Bus). As I was still pondering and wondering how good life must be for the people in the 2nd Biggest town in Slovakia,  Kosice (which I’m convinced its  really one of those towns out of the radar), for paying only 25 cents for a tram ride to the Centrum ( City Centre) there came the Ticket police.  I gladly and proudly handed them my ticket, they then asked for my Student card – to which I said I’m not a student. They then said ( bla bla shovire shovarakkk krinko krinko)

This post is about sharing some of the awesome things I saw that captured my eyes and my camera lens. Just eye porn and Soul food. The people I met in China. Its seems some people were very intrigued to see a dark skin African girl. Those that could collect enough guts would ask to take pictures with me. lets just say Chinese Loves the camera.

6 things you should know  before travelling to China The Great Firewall of China : Imagine my Surprise when I arrived in Beijing China. I had no access to my Gmail where all my information on bookings were. ( Yes i know- I should have picked it up on my pre- research huh? but I didn’t. ) China certainly like big walls. In China there is a huge firewall on normal access to internet as the world know it.  Google and all social media is banned in China ( including Facebook, Twitter you tube, Instagram, etc.)  I mean who does that? Ok, in a way somehow

So I landed in Beijing China with no clear itinerary. The initial idea was to travel to Guangzhou for business. You know a girl like me cannot waste an international flight and a Visa for a few days of business, right? I had not planned on Travelling China so I became open Minded. I ended up going to 4 cities in china; Beijing, Shanghai, Xian and Guangzhou. I had never even heard of Xian before, but it came highly recommended for tourists (Even Though I do not consider myself a tourist; rather a traveler / an explorer). After spending 3 weeks in China, one post is not

I know it’s been a while since I posted. That’s just because I’ve been out there busy chaging lives. In the past month I have travelled 4 provinces in South Africa, mainly doing my outreach work to the many disadvantaged girls of South Africa, distributing reusable sanitary wear. Without this intervention, these girls either miss school every month or use unhygienic options like toilet paper, news paper, old socks etc. I have met with wonderful girls with a huge potential to become successful future leaders if nurtured. While travelling is my first love, my heart remains with these wonderful girls. Giving

Feel free to pin and share them . don’t these remind you of that movie signs? back then i used t think they we made for the movies, but these are the farms in Kwaazulu Natal Durban, beautiful.

A little more than a year ago I posted my first enthusiastic blog. It was supposed to have been a blog about my family road trip across the African continent. But a lot has happened since then that has taken precedence over blogging – and yes I admit, the fear of my blog being imperfect took over as well. Isn’t it a human thing though, to let fear rule? Anyway we are back and we hope to regularly update our travel memories. The main aim of this is to share our travel experiences. There is no doubt about it; we

Maputo Arriving in Maputo, you could almost feel disappointed and discouraged. I won’t lie, like many African cities, the city is dilapidated and run down. Maputo does not seem to have a formal rubbish collection service, so rubbish dumping is random. Your Grand entrance will be a shanty town, kind of reminds me of Alexandra township back home in South Africa. This picture of the street was taken through a windshield as the people of Maputo do not particularly like photos of their city taken. It is illegal in most parts to photograph, so be careful. You will soon forgive
